Check out what is winter kiteboarding in Sydney about. Winds are mostly blowing from west (sw, w, nw) over the winter and Kurnell is one of few kiteable spots in otherwise offshore winds. Westerly winds are usually gusty and can get pretty strong. We have been enjoying strong wing kiteboarding for years as these conditions are good thrill for us:)
